Ch 11 questions

1) Ralph's group decides they must go to jack to get Piggy's specs back and talk about Ralph still being chief.

2) The twins are "seeing Ralph for the first time" before going to castle rock when Ralph was up on a small frenzy shouting about the smoke, his attitude was never seen by anyone which took the twins by surprise.

3) The boy's attempt to get back piggy's spec and get the other boys to maintain a signal fire bound to fail because there are less boys on Ralph side, and Jack would probably refuse to obey and give Piggy his specs.

4) I think Rodger pushes the rock of the cliff because he got caught up with what everyone else was doing and pushing the rock might have made him seem more powerful.

5)The destruction of the Conch symbolically significant the end of civilization and order.

6) For most of the boys, the reasons they want a chief is to lead them through difficulties. A chief can guide everyone to a path, the chief makes the decisions for the boys.

7)Do you want to get rescued?
Are you planning on killing more boys if your desire to kill emerge?

8) As a story first begins, it starts in peace, everything is happy. As the first killing occurred which was of the pig, more death followed. Simon was killed by all the boy, an accident or not, some boys like Jack didn't seem concerned about it but tried to justify it. The Island is not the problem. It hasn't changed, but the boys have. Now the New leader became Jack, and Ralph is battling to find answer.

Seeing all this turning to a disaster give me fear. I always wonder if I'll ever be able to go hope to my family before some kills me. If someone does kill me, the one doing it would probably be Jack. Right now I'm supporting Ralph but I wish he finds a way to get the support of al the boys and becomes leader yet again. I can only drean.

Chapter 10 common core question

 CAT questions

1) In the beginning of this chapter Ralph realizes what happened and tell piggy that Simon's death was murder. Piggy seems to deny this, he believes it was an accident. "'That was murder.' 'You stop it!' said piggy shrilly. 'What good're you doing talking like that?'.......'It was an accident.'" (Golding 156-157) Samneric wanted to forget the awful moment so he lied about being at the feast.  "Yes. We were vey tired," repeated Sam, "so we left early. Was it a good-"  (Golding 158)

2)The difference between the feelings Ralph and Jack have towards what happened to Simon that night was that Ralph do what they have done and felt guilty. "Don't you understand,  Piggy? The things we did-"  (Golding 157). On the hand Jack seemed to be please about what he did and tries to justify it by saying the beast was disguised as Simon.  'He came - disguised. He may come again even though we gave him the head of our kill to eat. So watch; and be careful' ", (Golding 160).

3)The conclusions I can make about Jack based on hid order to beat Wilfred is that he can't handle the power and is making everyone around him miserable and scared. "The rest of you can go to sleep as soon as the sun sets" (Golding 161). Also that he can't control his anger.  " I don't know. He didn't say. He got angry and made us tie Wilfred up. He's been"- he giggled excitedly-"he's been tied for hours, waiting-" (Golding 159).

*Jack is the official leader. He has the group of boys listening to everything he says or does. For example when the boys punished Wilfred because Jack order so.

Ralph and Jack ferociously punched and kicked each other. No one wanted to give in. The other boys hid, they didn't want to go through Jacks nor Ralph wrath. Ralph was fighting with jack while Rodger was beating up Piggy leaving him unconscious. After realizing they have lost the fight Jack and Rodger left running. Ralph saw Piggy's body in the ground and went straight to help him. Seeing Piggy's body reminded Ralph of the night of Simon's murder.

Ebola questions and answers

1.The CDC wants to make hospitals Ebola-ready in a presumption .
2.  The solutions she offers are expanding capacity at our nation's four bio-containment hospitals. This will treat Ebola patients without having the virus spread from the patients to the doctors or anyone in the hospital.
3.Sean Kaufman called them "absolutely irresponsible and dead wrong" which he refered to the CDC's guidelines for protective gear for Ebola because alot of skin was showing.
4. Michael Burgess pointed out the difference of protective suits from Africa and the ones the CDC issued for nurses and doctors. The Africa suit is more protective then the CDC which shows more skin.
5.  Ms. McCaughey concludes her commentary by recommending: “The best Ebola strategy is to protect our local hospitals, health-care workers and patients by relying on the nation’s bio-containment facilities. That’s what they were built for? I agree with Ms. McCaughey. Ebola doesn't have a cure so we should  keep the ones that are heathy safe from Ebola.
Yes they agree that local hospitals and other community places should be protect ed so Ebola it doesn't expand of Ebola to everyone.

Does Gym Help Students Perform Better in All Their Classes?

Many student think P.E. it is a waste of time and ask themself why do we need P.E. Here's why physical  education  makes you who you are. It gives you skills  toward a more heathy life. It provide exercise, Coordination and flexibility, Endorphin Production and socialization.
Physical education  provides exercise  for kids and most importantly it keeps kids that don't do any physical activity  after school. Not doing any exercise is a reason why the United states is one of the fattest country in the world and I think P.E can help. It improves Coordination  and  Flexibility with the games like basketball, football and doing splits or other tricks. According to the national association of sport and Physical Education  these skills give the student self-esteem.
Another thing that is not expected is that one another result of physical education is Endorphin Production. Endorphin Production is a gas in the brain that improve mood and outlook. Kids who engage in the physical activity release Endorphin and they go to class cheerful and relax ready to learn.A representative study, presented in May at the American College of Sports Medicine, found that fourth- and fifth-grade students who ran around and otherwise exercised vigorously for at least 10 minutes before a math test scored higher than children who had sat quietly before the exam.
Finally physical education provide kids a chance to interact with each other. It not only give kids time to interact but an atmosphere where they learn about teamwork, sportsmanship and also an competitive atmosphere that might cause fights or discussions but a good teacher may teach them how to resolve this in a responsible manner.
P.E. might not be challenging nor something we need during our teen years but we don't give it a chance many complain about P.E and forget to have fun. P.E actually makes me more alert when I go to class. Physical  education is more then just an class you have to take.
